Inventory Assistant-Part-Time

Office:           Ladies & Gentlemen Salon and Day Spa - Mentor Ohio
Location:      Mentor, OH

This is a Part-Time position: Mondays and Wednesdays, 8am-4pm

 

 

Purpose:

Responsible for receiving, counting, stocking, replenishing, and ordering of all products for the salon 

 

Essential Functions:

Compares incoming shipments with order requisitions to determine if shipment is correct and ensure proper receipt of merchandise

 

Arranges stock and sorts incoming merchandise, placing it in the appropriate stock or staging areas

Fills requisitions and issues supplies; May need to deliver supplies occasionally

 

Conducts physical inventories and records results for comparison with inventory records to ensure accountability for products

 

Completes other duties as assigned

 

Position Qualifications:

 

Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and lift 40 pounds repetitively

 

Must be able to make basic arithmetic computations

 

Ability to prepare reports and keep records

 

Computer literacy (Outlook, Internet, MS Office)

 

An understanding of retail operations and/or inventory experience preferred
